Mid-century department stores had amazing variety in graphic design. To re-interpret the Bartocci’s Department Store graphics from the 2015 film Brooklyn, I referenced materials from several stores of the time including, Abraham & Strauss, Filene’s, Lord & Taylor, and Macy’s.
